Brady Paul Christ, 20, of Burlington, died Friday, April 5, 2024 at his home, after a lifelong battle with Adrenoleukodystrophy.

Born May 30, 2003, in West Burlington, he was the son of Brian Joseph and Kristen Michelle Chesterfield Christ. 

He was a 2021 graduate of Burlington Notre Dame High School. Brady assisted his father with the family business, working on investments to build capital for charitable organizations. 

He was of Catholic faith and was a member of Divine Mercy Parish. Brady enjoyed skateboarding, playing poker, gaming with his friends, trading stocks and playing with his cats. He was always making everyone laugh. Most importantly, he was very strongly devoted to a life of prayer and worship. 

Survivors include his parents, Brian and Kristen Christ of Burlington; sister, Morgan Christ of Burlington; maternal grandmother, Diana Chesterfield of Mustang, OK; and paternal grandparents, Sue Ellen and Larry Christ of Burlington.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Burton Paul "Poppy" Chesterfield and his best friend, Garrett Brockway.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 2:00 PM rosary service Friday, April 12, 2024, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street. 

The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection for Brady will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Divine Mercy Parish-St. Paul's Catholic Church with Fr. Jake Greiner as the Celebrant. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Burlington.

A memorial has been established for ALD Connect, located in Middleton, MA, to further research for Adrenoleukodystrophy, a rare disease about which there is still much to be learned. Brady voluntarily spent his lifetime participating in many clinical studies to advance the body of knowledge on this disease for the benefit of future generations.
