FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Notre Dame 2024-2025 Wall of Fame Class and Annual Alumni Baseball Game ceremony announced BURLINGTON, IA –The 2024-2025 Notre Dame Wall of Fame class has been announced and will be honored at Winegard Field on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
The Class of 2025 includes:
• 2021 BOYS SOCCER STATE CHAMPIONS
• 2020 & 2021 GIRLS VOLLEYBALL STATE CHAMPIONS
• KACIE BROEG (GOLF)
• COURTNEY COFFIN (SOFTBALL/BASKETBALL)
• LEE LUNDVALL (COACH/ADMINISTRATOR)
• XAVIOR WILLIAMS (BASKETBALL/FOOTBALL/TRACK&FIELD
According to the committee Mission Statement, the intent of the Wall of Fame is to “recognize those who have brought distinction to Notre Dame through their leadership, participation and support. The Wall of Fame has been created to honor exemplary teams and individuals as a lasting tribute to those who have brought honor to themselves, their school, their teams, communities and country.”
The Notre Dame Wall of Fame distinction honors more than just student-athletes. Former students, teams, coaches, faculty, volunteers and administrative staff are also considered each year.

The Alumni game rosters and players including members of the Notre Dame Nike JV/Varsity baseball teams will be announced closer to the game date.
Committee Chairman Brian Fleming, a 1980 graduate from the school outlined the nomination and induction process. “Based on the nominations which are submitted, we select members of the Nike family who have dedicated their time and sweat equity to Notre Dame athletics and educational excellence. Each of these inductees excelled in the classroom as well as on their respective athletic fields and in their adult lives.” Fleming pointed out that once a nomination is submitted, it remains under consideration by the board for future years. “Simply because a nominee or nominees weren’t selected this year doesn’t mean they weren’t deserving and won’t be voted on for future induction. Our committee has agreed to place limitations on annual selection numbers and all nominees will continue to be considered and included in all ongoing discussions. We are blending the past with the present as we consider all nominees.” The Wall of Fame display with mounted plaques is located in the hallway between Father Minnet Gymnasium and the Nike Elementary gym. The school honored championship teams only in its inaugural installment in 2019 and will continue to induct individuals and teams with diverse contributions and accomplishments into the future.
