A trio of Notre Dame-West Burlington high school boys soccer players received all-state recognition from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association on Monday.

Senior defender Logan Hamma and sophomore forward Jordan Edgington were named to the Class 1A second team, while junior midfielder Tatum Warner received honorable mention.

Hamma was a mainstay as a centerback for a Nikes defense which allowed just 14 goals all season. Hamma had two assists on the season and was a steadying force in front of freshman goalkeeper Theo Reif.

Edgington led the state in goals with 42, breaking the school record held by Sam Brueck. He also had 11 assists for 95 points, tied for second in the state. Of his 11 shots, 78 were on net. He was also 3-for-4 on penalty kicks.

Warner was a consistent threat as a right-side wing, often making runs to the endline, then finding open teammates in the box for goals. Warner scored 18 goals and had 23 assists for 59 points. He took 76 shots, 53 of them on net.
