The 7th grade class was responsible for this month’s Saint and Virtue Board. October’s Saint is St. Therese of Lisieux. She exemplified the virtue of humility with her little ways…doing small things with great love! St. Therese, pray for us!

The first and second grade classes took a field trip to view the stained glass gallery at the Art Center of Burlington and learn about how stained glass is made. We also went to the Burlington Public Library and learned about the difference between big problems and small problems from Miss Allison. Miss Allison also led us in some calming deep breaths and yoga stretches. We took a tour of the library and got to see the stained glass lamps and windows displayed at the library. First grade also toured the picture book area and beginning reader areas. We talked about how students could come back to the library with an adult and a library card and check out books!
