Matthew Oleson, ND 7th Grader, won the City of Burlington's "If I were Mayor essay contest". His outstanding letter and the proclamation read into city records last night.
Matthew won $100 and advances to the state round of the contest!
The ND Leo Club, along with the middle school/high school student body, brought holiday cheer to area foster families at their annual Christmas party!

"These are the golf clubs that belonged to Fr. James Minnett that I contacted you about. When Fr. Minnett died his mother wanted my dad to have "Jimmy's" golf clubs because they were good friends and golfing buddies. There's nothing special about these clubs other than they were Fr.Minnett's. I don't have any provenance other than I knew Fr. Minnett and his mother and that he and my dad played golf frequently.
I hope the school can use these in some capacity."

Burlington ND: Due to cold temps Notre Dame school will be canceled for tomorrow Dec. 6th. Have a good evening.
Tuesday Basketball Game vs Central Lee!
We are changing the location of the game from Notre Dame to Central Lee. There is no change to times for the games. Tomorrows games will be @Central Lee. Bus will leave at 2:15.
On 1/16/24, we will Host Central Lee at Notre Dame!
I hope this message reaches you well. I am writing to inform you of an unforeseen circumstance that requires the cancellation of school tomorrow. Regrettably, our school is currently experiencing a leak of some sort and our heating system has to be turned off, rendering our facilities unable to maintain a suitable temperature for both students and staff. Because of this situation we will have to cancel school for tomorrow December 5. There will be no daycare services at this time either. After school athletics and clubs will have a decision later tomorrow.

Notre Dame School will be open from 3:30 to 4:30 today if any students would like to return to pick up their items. All activities at the school for tonight are cancelled. We will announce later about school for tomorrow.
