
Congratulations to the Notre Dame speech team on earning “one” ratings in both readers theater and ensemble acting at the state speech contest on Saturday, February 8, in Cedar Rapids. Students who participated were Liam Haeger, Jillian Nickel, Kyleigh Kniffen, Simi Khinda, Sophia Blindt, Eva Salvador, Macy Tripp, Anneliese Lachnitt, Mary Joyce, Gavin Stevens, and Hannah Schuldt. We are beyond proud to celebrate Madalynn as she officially commits to Sandburg College to continue both her academic and athletic career, playing softball and volleyball!

100th Day Fun in Kindergarten. In a couple of the pictures the kids were moving fast and having fun ( a little blurry!)




Jazz Night is coming up on Friday, February 28 at 7:00pm. Come enjoy an evening of Music In The Movies. Doors will open at 6:15. Table reservations must be made using the link below for $50 each. Each table includes four seats, 4 concession drink tickets and popcorn. Bleacher seats are available at the door for $10 each. Make sure to reserve your table early as we only sell 50 tables. ND Athletic Events this week!


Library and art organized a bookmark contest for Catholic schools week. Kids were asked to create bookmarks capturing ND School Spirit! Each class will vote on their favorite bookmarks and the winning bookmarks will be made for the kids to use in the library.

Two of our groups advanced to state competition after their
performance at the district large group contest last Saturday.
The Readers Theatre team who presented The Internet Has
Died as well as the Ensemble Acting group who performed Fast
Food will both compete at state on February 8.
Students who presented were
Seniors Anneliese Lachnitt, Eva Salvador, and Macy Tripp;
juniors Mary Joyce, Hannah Schuldt, and Gavin Stevens; and
sophomores Sophia Blindt, Liam Haeger, Simi Khinda, Kyleigh
Kniffen, Jillian Nickel, and Jesse Pearson.
Sophia, Liam, Simi, Kyleigh, Jillian, and Gavin are advancing to
state in TWO events.
Congratulations to all of you, and good luck at state.

Unfortunately we didn’t sell enough tables for the dueling pianos to happen this Saturday . Therefore we have decided to cancel the dueling pianos event for this weekend. All money will be reimbursed to those who reserved tables.
