Yesterday, Notre Dame kicked off our "STAY PRAYED UP" challenge. Students went to Mass, walked in an Eucharistic Procession and enjoyed an awesome assembly where many familiar faces encouraged them to STAY PRAYED UP! The morning was wrapped up with an all-school picnic on the soccer field with games, face-painting, bubbles and lots of fun! Today, students were further challenged to spend 15 minutes a day with God in whatever way works best for them... being out in His creation, reading Scripture, silent prayer, listening to praise and worship music... Fifth - twelfth grade students were given their own personal journal to keep track of time spent with Him. Younger students are also involved in the challenge with Mrs. Cady. Be sure to ask your child all about our special day and the challenge ahead that will hopefully be carried with them for the rest of their lives!
